3 Months Till Christmas

This September has been amazing!
We have had the most gorgeous summer weather in Denmark, yes summer weather! We've had up to 28 degrees celcius!
Hubby and I also went for a romantic long weekend to Barcelona in Spain. Plenty of sunshine, tapas and wine.
Yep, it's been an amazing September so far :)

Enough about the weather and let's get down to business 'cause it's the 24th!

So there are only 3 months till Christmas and this is my September Christmas Card which I have made for the Danish Operation Write Home - Operation Skriv Hjem

It's my first go with my new layering stampset from Hero Arts. I only have one conclusion - I need more green inks! I thought I had plenty but apparently not enough ;)

The sentiment in Danish means "Christmas Greetings".

I added a little piece of red ribbon as an extra touch. A little detail which adds a lot to the finished card.

Have a fabulous Saturday
Pia :)

Word Prompt "Glamour" - Inkspirational Challenges

So it is yet again time for a new challenge over at
Inkspirational Challenges.
This time we have our Word Prompt theme:
Oh man, did I struggle with this theme! I am not that much of a glamour girl despite the number of evening gowns in my closet. So I decided to go with a wedding card and the touch of gold.

The sentiment is heat embossed on thin vellum. I prepped the vellum with my powder tool before stamping to remove static. This made sure I had no stray embossing powder grains and got a perfect heat embossed sentiment :)

Go visit the other INK DT girls and leave them some crafty love too...
Don't forget to have fun :)

Create your own embellishment in Ett Trykk Magazine

Today I am sharing a card I had published in the Norwegian craft magazine Ett Trykk in the August edition.

This time the task was to create your own embellishment and use it on a project. I choose to use the opener thingie from a soda can. Honestly, I cannot remember the English word for it.

I kind a ended up creating a sort of spider web - if you can call it such ;)

The text is Danish and means "You are SUPER cool".

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I truly do appreciate every visit I get :)
